Introduction

Our dedicated team of Travel Curators are constantly striving to exceed our Clients’ expectations – from our very first contact, right up until they arrive back home. We also take into account the needs of our network of Partners, who are often independent/boutique Providers.

With our terms, we hope to provide our clients with high-quality services, as we promise to do our best in accommodating their needs to amend, postpone or cancel journeys. They are designed to be fair for you, to our partners, and for us.

 

How we work

1) Our Process

1. The Client contacts TINAST (through email, phone, or website) to help understand the vision for their trip or any plans they have already made. Usually, the Client fills an Online Form.

2. The Client joins a free 20 min Exploration Chat to have a conversation and share their aspirations of their journey with Travel Curator at TINAST. The travel curator shall share a travel plan outline to the guest so as to ensure they are mutually understood and agreeable and find out what it looks like to work together.

3. The Client would confirm their willingness to work with TINAST on their custom trip planning and pay a trip design fee to get started.

4. Once the trip design fee is paid by the Client, the Travel Curator and the Client would then join a more in-depth call to dive into your detailed itinerary designed by the Travel Curator.

5. The Travel Curator will send the Client their custom itinerary in full in addition to the payment schedule. The Client will then have full flexibility to adjust it until it is perfect for them.

2) Trip Design Fees

To create a bespoke journey, we charge a one-time upfront Trip-Design Fee for our time and expertise. The Trip-Design Fee is Euro 200. For groups of 5 or more people the Trip-Design Fee is Euro 300. This fee is credited to the final bill and will be non-refundable, should the trip not be booked through TINAST.

3) Deposit and Balance Payment

At the time of confirmation by the Client of their willingness to work with TINAST on their custom trip planning, we collect Trip-Design Fee as per Section 1 and 2 above.

A detailed timeline and the balance payment schedule will be provided once the client accepts the journey designed by Tinast Travel Curator.

A deposit that typically totals 20% of the journey’s total cost must be paid by the Client upon confirmation of the journey designed by Tinast (sometimes more, if a journey contains elements which are non-refundable and/or requires up-front payments. These cases are always clearly specified). This deposit will allow TINAST's Travel Curators to make accommodation and other arrangements’ booking and confirmation.

The balance of the trip cost is due 30 days prior to the scheduled start date of the journey (or) as per the timeline provided to you.

All payments are processed using the most stringent level of verification available in the payments industry.

We strive to ensure that the journeys’ cost is all inclusive of all charges, fees, and/or taxes on the service. Some instance the local government taxes may have to be paid directly at the hotels.

Prices do not include personal expenses such as gratuities, visa and passport fees, insurance, and medical costs.

A full list of inclusions is shared with our clients when planning and booking our journeys.

Cancellation and Refund

Our Partners and service Providers have strict cancellation and refund policies and in some cases are non-refundable.

The following cancellation charges shall apply:

15 – 28 days  50%
29 days and beyond  30%
Trip-Design Fees Non-refundable

Sometimes a Client may want to cancel a booked activity while travelling. If canceled within our activity providers free-cancellation cutoff date, we will refund our purchase price excluding a 10% handling cost.

If an activity provider cancels an activity due to weather conditions or other operational needs, the activity is refunded in full. Refund claims must be submitted by email within 2 weeks after the completion of the specific journey or activity.

Other terms and conditions may also apply related but not limited to specific flights or hotels including being fully non-refundable.

Trip Modification

If a Client wishes to change the dates of their journey after having confirmed their journey with deposit payment, this can be done at an additional service charge of Euro 50 plus potential additional costs due to prices available at the new dates in question. Journeys may be postponed for up to 12 months.

Requests to modify a journey after the deposit is paid, for example change of accommodations, travel logistics must be advised at least 14 days in advance of the confirmed dates of travel after which the respective cancellation policy will apply.

Payment Methods

Payments are made through a secure payment link or, alternatively, through a bank transfer. Our Payment Processing Platform operates at the highest level of security.

The liability to ensure payments either via bank transfer, credit card or any other form of payment methods solely rests with the Client(s). The company will not be responsible for any error arising from such transfers or payments or price increase due to payment errors.  We do reserve the right to cancel our trip offer if payment is declined or have been supplied incorrect or insufficient information. In addition, we also reserve the right to do random checks in order to minimize credit card fraud.

Currency Conversion

Our quotations and invoices will be issued in the destination country’s currency or in USD.

Currency rates are based on several publicly available sources. The accuracy of such rates is not verified, and actual rates may vary. Currency quotes are frequently updated. We believe in the accuracy of the information, but we do not warrant or guarantee such accuracy. If using this information for any financial purpose, we advise you to consult a qualified professional to verify the accuracy of the currency rates.

Passports and Visas

Please ensure you have a passport valid for the duration of your trip. Most destinations require your passport be valid for a certain length of time; in general, 6 months after completion of travel. You may also be required to obtain a visa for some destinations (including for transit points) and it is your responsibility to do so prior to travel.

Visa and health requirements are subject to change without notice, we recommend that our clients verify health and visa requirements with appropriate consulates prior to their departure.

When making a booking you must ensure that your name (and the name of any person(s) for whom you are making a booking) matches exactly the name as it appears in your (or the person(s) for whom you are making the booking’s) passport.

You shall provide a valid passport copy prior to making a booking. A failure to travel with the correct documentation could result in the passenger being refused travel, entry to the country of their destination or stop-over or transit point, deportation, or incarceration and in such circumstance(s) you will be solely responsible for any cost, loss, or damage which you or we (or our agents or servants) incur. We accept no responsibility for customers who do not possess the correct documents and Visas.

Hotel and Airport Taxes

We strive to ensure that the journeys’ cost is all inclusive of all charges, fees, and/or taxes on the service. Some hotels, land transfers, activities and airports may levy additional city, airport departure tax or other local taxes, which is payable by the Client locally. Information on these charges is not given through our quoted fares and is your sole responsibility.

Health Insurance Requirements

Immunization may be recommended or required for your destination(s) or stopover points. Please check this with appropriate authorities or with your doctor prior to your planned journey well in advance. We recommend the purchase of adequate travel insurance for all overseas travel. TINAST shall not be responsible for any entry delay or refusal by local authorities arising from noncompliance of health, visa, insurance or similar as laid out by the respected government authorities.

Risk

By booking with TINAST, it is accepted and understood that participation in certain activities may involve risks beyond conventional holidays. TINAST shall not be liable for any loss, damage, accidents, injuries, sickness, or death during a journey.

Website and General Information

We may change any aspect of the Website or its content, including the availability of any suppliers, features, information, or other content, at any time without notice. Every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of all information and prices. Where a price is obviously incorrect due to a system or manual error, we shall not be bound by such price and have the authority and responsibility to correct the pricing or any information.

Security Information

To ensure secure online payment and all other transactions of personal data, the Website uses a technology called SSL (Secure Socket Layer). SSL encrypts all communications between your computer and our server so that the information can only be read and understood by us. Usually, a closed lock on your browser window shows a secure connection. If your browser is equipped with SSL your transaction will automatically be secured. The common standard in the Internet to signal a secure site is a closed lock at the bottom of the browser. As long as the lock is displayed closed your information is secure and encrypted to avoid abuse. If you click the secure transaction link and still cannot see the closed lock, the reason may be that the window is in nested in another frame.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Your access to and use of software and other materials either through our Website or from the Company E-Mail server(s) is solely at your own risk. We make no representation, warranty, or covenant whatsoever about the reliability, stability or virus free nature of such software.

We do not accept any liability in respect of your inability to access or use the Website or communications from our web server at any time or for any interruption in that access or use, or for any failure to complete any transaction. All software and other materials are provided as is without representation, warranty, or covenant of any kind, including all implied warranties.

Links to Third-Parties Websites

TINAST Website or any E-Mail communication may contain links and pointers to Internet sites maintained by third parties. We do not operate or control in any respect any information, products or services on such third-party sites. Third party links and pointers are included solely for your convenience, and do not constitute any endorsement by us.

Governing Law

All matters that arise between a Client and us will be governed by the laws applicable in Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC). It is also conditional on the Client agreement that any dispute that arises between the Client and us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of DIFC, save that we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these terms and conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country.

Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions and any other legal notices, policies and guidelines of TINASTlinked to these terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the Client and TINAST and supersede any prior understandings or agreements (whether oral or written), claims, representations, and understandings of the parties regarding such subject matter and the terms and conditions may not be amended or modified except by making such amendments or modifications available on Website.
